Center for Digital Government is seeking a Senior Engineer (ENG) to join their Facilities Engineering Section in Annapolis, MD. The role involves managing consultants and contractors for capital improvement projects, ensuring compliance with quality, schedules, and budgets.
About the Role
As a Senior Engineer, you will manage the design and construction of complex capital projects, ensuring quality and adherence to budget and schedule. You will prepare capital budgets, provide technical engineering assistance, and maintain effective communication with project teams. The position requires oversight of project management databases and documentation of project status and changes.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Four or more years of technical experience in engineering.
- Valid non-commercial Class C motor vehicle operator's license.
Preferred:
- Professional engineering and project management experience in capital improvement projects, particularly in Recreation and Parks.
- Experience in acquiring permits and approvals from regulatory agencies for capital improvement projects.
- Experience in the design and/or construction of stormwater management facilities.
