Summary
ADPma, LLC is seeking a Senior Engineer - Power & Engines to join their team in Piney Flats, TN. The role involves managing all aspects of Power and Engine related projects from conception to FAA certification.
About the Role
As a Senior Engineer - Power & Engines, you will be responsible for leading engineering processes for aircraft engine and APU components, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, and collaborating with various teams to achieve project goals. You will also provide mentorship to team members and maintain documentation related to engineering processes.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in mechanical parts, especially gears and bearings.
- Proven experience in metallurgical materials science, especially high performance alloys.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office Suite software.
Preferred:
- A master’s degree or relevant certification.
- Additional experience with jet engines and/or auxiliary power units (APUs).
- Proven team leadership and development experience.
- Knowledge of industry trends.
