City of Westminster is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Public Works Department in Westminster, CA. The role involves planning, scheduling, assigning, and reviewing the work of engineering staff, as well as managing complex engineering activities.
About the Role
As a Senior Engineer, you will supervise and coordinate engineering activities including environmental programs, design, construction, and land development. You will ensure compliance with laws and regulations, manage the City's NPDES and Flood Management programs, and provide administrative support to the Deputy City Engineer. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing civil engineering plans, conducting inspections, and developing policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Five years of responsible experience in civil engineering with emphasis in public works capital improvements.
One year of supervisory experience.
Valid certificate of registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California.
Preferred:
Certification as a Qualified Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Developer (QSD).
Experience in managing complex engineering projects.
