About the Role
As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for planning and conducting projects on-board U.S. Naval Ships. Your tasks will include selecting and adapting designs, resolving technical problems, reviewing technical work, training lower-level technicians, conducting tests, and analyzing results to improve equipment performance.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 8 years of experience in a shipyard environment.
- Familiarity with NAVSEA standards and practices in electronics repair, fabrication, and installation.
- Ability to work in high heat spaces and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week and travel up to 25%.
Preferred:
- Mil-Spec multipin and fiber optic connector certification.
