About the Role
As a Senior Estimator, you will analyze engineering drawings and project documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for fabrication, machining, and assembly work. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales teams to support business growth and ensure profitability. Your responsibilities will include generating cost data compliant with TINA and FAR requirements, mentoring junior estimators, and identifying opportunities for process improvement in estimating and data management.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of estimating experience in precision metal fabrication, machining, or welded assemblies.
- Proven experience producing TINA-compliant cost data and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Strong understanding of metal manufacturing processes including CNC machining, welding, assembly, coating, and inspection.
Preferred:
- Experience in cost modeling for complex assemblies and multi-step manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of project management principles and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Familiarity with ASTM & MIL standards for materials and fabrication.
