Summary
HDR is seeking a Senior Federal Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves managing and delivering high-quality engineering projects for DoD clients across the Pacific region.
About the Role
As a Senior Federal Electrical Engineering Project Manager, you will lead multidiscipline design teams, oversee all phases of project development, develop scopes of work, coordinate design activities, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. You will also supervise project teams, conduct quality control reviews, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10 years related experience
- A minimum of 5 years project management experience
- Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license
- MS Office and MS Project experience
- Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
- Commitment to being an active participant of the employee-owned culture
Preferred:
- Minimum of 15 years of project management experience, preferably in the Pacific region
- State of Hawai‘i Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Extensive experience managing electrical engineering design projects for federal agencies
- Strong technical background in electrical engineering design, including calculations, specifications, and construction documentation
- Familiarity with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
