HDR is seeking a Senior Federal Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join their team in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role involves managing and delivering high-quality engineering projects for DoD clients, including electrical designs for various facilities and systems.
About the Role
As a Senior Federal Electrical Engineering Project Manager, you will lead multidiscipline design teams across various DoD projects, oversee all phases of project development, develop scopes of work and cost estimates, coordinate design activities, serve as the primary client contact, supervise project teams, conduct quality control reviews, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10 years related experience
- A minimum of 5 years project management experience
- Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license
- MS Office and MS Project experience
- Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
- Commitment to being an active participant in an employee-owned culture
Preferred:
- Minimum of 15 years of project management experience, preferably in the Pacific region
- State of Hawai‘i Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Extensive experience managing electrical engineering design projects for federal agencies
- Strong technical background in electrical engineering design, including calculations and specifications
- Familiarity with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
