Summary
Postman is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer, Flows to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves designing and building intuitive, high-performance frontend experiences for the Postman Flows product.
About the Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for building high-quality, responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies such as React. You will ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, maintain operational excellence through test-driven development, and drive improvements in frontend architecture. Collaboration with backend engineers, designers, and other stakeholders is key to delivering seamless, user-friendly solutions. You will also mentor other engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes.
About You
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in frontend development, preferably in a SaaS or cloud platform environment.
- Proven experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies.
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices.
Preferred:
- Experience working in agile environments and shipping features on a frequent basis.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous requests efficiently.
- Proficient with version control systems (git), and build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Babel, etc.) and testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for UI/UX details.
