Aztec Group is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant - Private Equity to join their team in Radnor, PA. The role involves managing financial activities for a portfolio of Private Funds and SPVs, including preparation of financial statements and investor reporting.
About the Role
As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for recording all activities for a portfolio of Private Funds and SPVs, preparing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, researching accounting guidance, liaising with client auditors, managing client relationships, and coaching junior staff. You will also participate in projects aimed at improving efficiency and work with the technology team on system functionality testing.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years previous experience in Fund Accounting or Audit, ideally in the alternative funds sector.
- Sound technical knowledge of US GAAP and reporting for alternative funds.
- Computer literacy, including word processing and Excel skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- CPA accreditation.
- Investran experience is highly desirable.
