About the Role
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting investigations, assessments, and providing guidance on the design and construction of various infrastructure projects. Your tasks will include analyzing data from physical work sites, maintaining quality control standards, performing geotechnical engineering work, developing construction plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also prepare technical reports, provide training to junior engineers, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or closely related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and prior geotechnical design experience.
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Proficient knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles including design of foundations and slope stability.
- Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
- Ability to conduct inspections and investigations on construction and design aspects.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- Essential Professional Licensure/Certification.
- Experience managing small to mid-size projects.
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) preferred.
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired.
