As a Senior GIS Developer, you will plan, direct, and monitor the work of team members, set priorities to meet user needs, and formulate system scope and objectives. You will design, code, test, debug, and document programs, and participate in the design, implementation, integration, management, and maintenance of complex databases. You will develop and maintain spatial databases, integrate GIS with other software systems, perform complex spatial data analysis, and facilitate meetings with stakeholders. You will also design and develop solutions adhering to industry best practices, modify existing or develop new online programs, and produce comprehensive documentation for developed applications.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science or a related area.
Eight years of technical experience in applications software development, including three years in systems analysis and one year as a technical lead.
Proficiency in software languages such as HTML, JAVA, JavaScript, Python, CSS, SQL, NoSQL, C#, or Perl.
Ability to pass a DOI Background Investigation for a Public Trust Clearance.
