ABB is seeking a Senior Global Mobility Specialist to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves managing all aspects of international assignments for employees, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and tax regulations.
About the Role
As a Senior Global Mobility Specialist, you will coordinate end-to-end mobility processes for employees relocating internationally, including assignment planning, immigration, tax compliance, and relocation logistics. You will also review and update global mobility processes, manage external vendors, provide consultation and support on global mobility matters, ensure tax and legal compliance, collaborate with various stakeholders, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, International Relations, or a similar field.
- 7 or more years of experience in global mobility, international HR, or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of immigration, tax, and employment laws across multiple countries.
- Strong understanding of relocation best practices and cultural considerations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and mobility management software.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
