About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive design experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative, real-world design outcomes.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Industrial Design (CAID) software such as Autodesk Alias, Rhino, ICEM Surf, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Prior experience in aviation, automotive, or marine interiors.
- Demonstrated track record of launching production-ready products with strong user and business impact.
- Familiarity with CAD and PLM tools (e.g., PTC Creo and Windchill).
- Class A surfacing capabilities.
Founded in 1965, the nonprofit Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) is one of the oldest and largest membership associations for industrial design professionals. IDSA has thousands of members in dozens of Professional Chapters, Student Chapters, and Special Interest Sections in the United States and internationally.
