Fiserv is seeking a Senior Integration Analyst to join their team in Albany, NY. The role involves documenting requirements and participating in solution design for complex system integrations, focusing on enabling seamless data and process flow between enterprise applications using middleware platforms and REST-based APIs.
About the Role
As a Senior Integration Analyst, you will serve as the primary liaison between business teams, integration developers, architects, QA, and external vendors. Your responsibilities will include facilitating workshops, communicating complex technical integration concepts, documenting functional and non-functional requirements, defining integration use cases, and collaborating with integration architects and developers on solutions. You will also support API lifecycle activities and assist with integration testing and deployment readiness.
About You
Required:
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with significant focus on system integrations.
Proven experience working with middleware platforms and RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of integration concepts such as synchronous vs. asynchronous messaging, data transformation, and error handling.
Experience authoring API/interface requirements, data mappings, and sequence or flow diagrams.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Preferred:
Experience with modern iPaaS or middleware solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Azure Integration Services, Kafka).
Knowledge of authentication/authorization standards (OAuth2, JWT, API keys).
Exposure to cloud-based architectures and microservices.
Prior experience in large-scale or enterprise integration programs.
Prior experience integrating financial systems such as core banking, lending, payments, or digital channels.
Knowledge of software project management methods as a participant.
Proven ability to operate under minimal supervision and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
