Summary
Symbotic is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team in Wilmington, MA. The role involves building and strengthening the Internal Audit function while developing and executing the SOX compliance program.
About the Role
As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will plan and execute SOX 404 testing, conduct operational audits, perform root cause analysis for control deficiencies, and collaborate with Finance and Operational teams to promote the Internal Audit function. This hands-on position requires effective communication and the ability to devise solutions independently.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- Minimum 5 years of internal audit or external audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm or publicly traded company.
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and key accounting standards, including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Effective project management, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience collaborating with management and key stakeholders.
- Proficiency with analytical and automation tools (e.g., Tableau and Power BI).
- Familiarity with AI-driven audit and analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).
- Experience with GRC platforms, preferably Workiva.
- Familiar with ERP data flows and IT control concepts.
