About the Role
As a Senior Lead Software Engineer, you will be part of an agile team responsible for executing creative software solutions, developing secure high-quality production code, and managing the day-to-day operations of the trade execution platform. You will also lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams, identify opportunities for operational stability, and contribute to a culture of diversity and inclusion.
About You
Required:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Strong hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, and proficient in frameworks like Django and Spring.
- Experience with AWS & DataBricks technology stacks.
- Experience with modern front-end technologies (React/Angular/Typescript).
- Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies.
Preferred:
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with investment banking products - fixed income, derivatives.
- Prior experience supporting trade execution platforms.
