About the Role
As a Senior MOT Engineer, you will lead project teams to manage multiple concurrent projects, develop complex roadway designs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will be involved in all phases of project management, from inception to completion, including Work Zone Traffic Control design and construction. Your responsibilities will also include preparing technical reports, collaborating with various stakeholders, and applying advanced engineering techniques to improve project outcomes.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
- 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and civil design.
- Engineer license required.
- Familiarity with MUTCD, AASHTO, and NCDOT Design Guidelines and Standards.
- Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer/Geopak roadway design software.
Preferred:
- Essential Professional Licensure/Certification.
- Experience managing small, mid-size, and large projects.
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired.
