Summary
Forvis Mazars US is seeking a Senior Manager, Energy & Infrastructure Finance to join their team in Boston, MA. The role involves managing independent model development of various financial models in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
About the Role
As a Senior Manager, you will work directly with infrastructure funds, lenders, developers, and asset managers to provide financial modeling, due diligence, consulting, and valuation services. You will build financial models for transactions in infrastructure, energy, and natural resources, support US tax equity transactions, and lead workshops and training courses. Additionally, you will manage project financials, including billing and reporting progress to the director/partner team.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics or finance.
- 10 years or more of experience related to financial analysis and modeling in infrastructure or similar sectors.
- Specific experience in infrastructure and energy asset classes with a strong understanding of project structuring and financing.
- Previous experience managing or supervising junior financial modelers.
Preferred:
- CPA, CFA or other advanced designations.
- Practical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting/tax concepts.
- Understanding of renewable energy markets and US tax equity structures.
- Superior analytical skills and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
