Summary
Safeguard Medical is seeking a Senior Manager, Planning & Supply Chain to join their team in Huntersville, NC. The role involves overseeing all planning, purchasing, and materials management activities supporting production and distribution.
About the Role
As a Senior Manager, Planning and Supply Chain, you will lead the North American planning organization, ensuring strong supplier performance, on-time delivery, competitive pricing, and optimal inventory levels. You will drive KPIs to improve delivery performance, build supplier relationships, implement process improvements, and support new product development.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 10+ years of supply chain planning experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong continuous improvement background with proven results in cost reduction, inventory optimization, or customer experience improvement.
- Hands-on leadership style with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and effective planning and execution.
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience with managing global suppliers.
- Skilled in lean methodologies, problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making, and data analysis.
