Ensign Services is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting to join their team in San Juan Capistrano, CA. The role involves serving as the technical accounting subject matter expert and preparing SEC reporting and investor relations deliverables.
About the Role
As a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting, you will evaluate complex transactions, provide accounting guidance, and ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements. Your responsibilities will include preparing accounting memos, coordinating corporate accounting policies, and supporting internal and external financial reporting processes. You will also monitor new accounting pronouncements and lead implementation efforts.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 8+ years minimum of blended public and private accounting experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP financial statements and financial reporting.
- Active CPA Certification.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven track record of effectively collaborating with cross-functional groups.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Preferred:
- Experience with Workiva and Workday.
