Summary
YA Group is seeking a Senior Managing Accident Reconstructionist to lead a team of experts in reconstructing vehicular accidents. This remote position requires extensive experience in forensic engineering and accident reconstruction investigations.
About the Role
As a Senior Managing Accident Reconstructionist, you will lead a team in conducting accident investigations, traveling to accident scenes, utilizing crash simulation software, and providing litigation support. You will manage complex projects, support business development, mentor team members, and provide expert testimony as needed.
About You
Required:
- 10-15 years of forensic accident reconstruction experience and ACTAR certified or a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 10-15 years of forensic accident reconstruction experience.
- Valid PE license, ACTAR certified, or SAE certified.
Preferred:
- Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Expert in CAD (Computer Aided Design).
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience calculating impact and departure speeds, collision forces, and trajectories.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in automotive engineering and automotive control systems.
- Experience handling depositions as a field expert and providing courtroom testimony.
