Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - MRO to join their team in Peabody, MA. The role involves providing technical expertise in manufacturing processes and supporting operational excellence.
About the Role
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - MRO, you will be responsible for planning, designing, setting up, modifying, optimizing, and monitoring manufacturing processes. You will maintain continuous process improvement, ensure compliance with regulations, provide shop floor support, and assist with root cause corrective actions. Additionally, you will prepare and revise manufacturing process sheets and participate in continuous improvement events.
About You
Required:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
5+ years of machining experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CAD software, particularly CATIA V5, and system application SAP.
Preferred:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and technical procedures.
Previous experience with continuous improvement tools.
Experience writing reports and business correspondence.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills.
