About the Role
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for sustaining engineering, manufacturing support, and scalability as products transition from early commercialization to higher-volume production. You will serve as the technical owner for manufacturing operations, supplier performance, and process improvements, working closely with cross-functional members and external manufacturing partners. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting manufacturing processes, implementing process enhancements, managing suppliers, ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO requirements, and supporting production planning.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in regulated medical device manufacturing or sustaining engineering.
- Demonstrated experience supporting manufacturing operations in an FDA-regulated environment (ISO 13485 strongly preferred).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in process optimization and supplier qualification.
- Ability to manage complex project risks and resolve engineering challenges with minimal oversight.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
