Jobot is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Technical Lead (Healthcare & Pharmaceutical) to join their team remotely. The role involves leading mechanical engineering efforts on complex design-build projects within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
About the Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Technical Lead, you will serve as the technical authority overseeing mechanical system design, engineering standards, and quality assurance. You will manage and mentor engineering staff, coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to healthcare and pharmaceutical design standards. Your responsibilities will include providing technical reviews, supporting project management, and representing the firm during client meetings.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with at least 5 years focused on healthcare or pharmaceutical facilities.
- Proven experience delivering design-build projects from planning through occupancy.
- Deep understanding of HVAC, chilled water, steam, cleanroom, and ventilation systems.
- Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and mechanical system modeling tools.
