Summary
Raytheon is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Radar & Sensors to join their team in Fullerton, CA. The role involves leading the development of innovative mechanical subsystems for the Sentinel radar product line.
About the Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will work within a team to develop mechanical subsystems using CAD tools, generate 3-D design models, and coordinate integration efforts across product teams. You will be the primary technical authority for the radar technical data package and support program growth and technology insertion strategies.
About You
Required:
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience as a senior mechanical engineer.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Experience in full-rate production of radar components.
- Strong CAD, technical writing, and oral communication skills.
