About the Role
As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating robotic hardware systems, including electromechanical subsystems and motion control. Your tasks will include rapid prototyping, conducting structural analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and production feasibility. You will also drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and manufacturability while staying current on robotics advancements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Robotics, or Computer Engineering (or related discipline).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in hardware, mechatronics, or robotics engineering, with hands-on work in electromechanical integration, prototyping, and system-level development.
- Proficiency with MCAD/ECAD and a strong understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with actuators, motor controllers, feedback control systems, sensor integration, embedded systems, and robotic kinematics/dynamics.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of industrial design principles, mockup development, lean manufacturing, and regulatory/safety compliance standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
