About the Role

As a Sr. Medical Device Engineer, you will drive understanding of sensor interaction between test and design variables. Responsibilities include performing statistical analysis on sensor test data, writing code to enable analysis of large data sets of sensor signals, and compiling analyses on sensor performance attributes. You will lead the development of scripts in Python and MATLAB to automate test data extraction, transformation, filtering, and compilation. Additionally, you will perform statistical modeling, regression, and multivariate analysis to understand interactions between materials, sensor build, and design parameters. You will analyze experimental bench data against in vivo results to generate hypotheses on performance attributes related to sensor accuracy and reliability, and communicate results to peers and management.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience, or Master’s degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience, or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
Demonstrated work experience using Python (2 years) for data processing, feature extraction, statistical analysis, and effective visualization of test data sets.
