About the Role
As a Senior Mental Health Technician, you will assist nursing staff in observing and monitoring the behavior and physical state of patients. You will help patients with personal hygiene and daily living activities according to nursing care plans. Establishing therapeutic relationships with patients and encouraging their participation in recreational and therapeutic activities will be key responsibilities.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree in a relevant field.
- Heartsaver CPR AED certification.
- EKG, 12-Lead certification.
- Phlebotomy certification.
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of mental health issues and treatment.
