Summary
International Rescue Committee is seeking a Senior Officer, Technical Partnerships to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves leading the development of strategic new business opportunities and enhancing private fundraising efforts for Economic Recovery & Development programs.
About the Role
As a Senior Officer, Technical Partnerships, you will oversee a portfolio of key funding priorities and drive IRC's Impact @ Scale plans. You will collaborate with high-value fundraisers, technical experts, and support teams to increase revenue for ERD programming. Your responsibilities will include guiding strategic private-sector engagement, providing business development support, improving internal coordination, and managing strategic partnerships throughout the grant lifecycle.
About You
Required:
- 6-7 years of related work experience, preferably with a large International Non-Governmental Organization in programs, fundraising and/or advocacy.
- Outstanding communication, relationship management, writing, and presentation skills.
- Experience with global Economic Recovery & Development programming in low-resource settings.
- Experience working with fundraising and grants management processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in international development, social work, or other relevant area, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of other IRC languages (Spanish, French, Arabic).
- Master’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- International experience across diverse contexts; working with global, cross-cultural teams.
