Summary
Serco is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist to join their team in Rock Island, IL. The role involves supporting the Global Logistics and Support Services III (GLASS III) contract with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC).
About the Role
As a Senior Operations Specialist, you will perform independent research and analysis of policies and regulations, manage day-to-day operations for the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP), develop and maintain contract requirements packages, prepare staff actions and briefings, and track contract milestones and performance metrics. You will also facilitate meetings, conduct studies on logistics support, and recommend new policies and procedures to optimize operations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years of experience in logistics and acquisition activities, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
- An Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in operations at the Brigade level or above.
- Thorough knowledge of National, Operational, and Tactical Level Logistics.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and regulatory programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Considerable interpersonal skills in presenting staffing recommendations.
