About the Role
As a Senior Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing shop floor operations, supervising workforce, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead a multi-skilled team, ensure compliance with safety standards, and interface with customers to meet their needs. The position requires setting daily goals, conducting performance reviews, and participating in environmental health and safety programs.
About You
Required:
- Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Military, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Aerospace or Logistics Industry; OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
Preferred:
- Degree in STEM field; Engineering, Business or Supply Chain preferred.
- 2+ years of operations leadership and personnel management experience.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques and shop practices.
- Experience with problem-solving tools such as root cause and corrective actions (RCCA).
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.
- Experience with Environmental Health & Safety principles.
- Experience working with Solumina MES, SAP ERP, MS Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
