Summary
Amentum is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join their team in Bartlett, TN. The role involves providing direct paralegal services to assist AUSAs in various legal tasks and investigations.
About the Role
As a Senior Paralegal, you will be responsible for gathering factual material, preparing case-summary binders, analyzing documents, drafting court filings, and assisting attorneys with trials and depositions. You will also manage a substantial quantity of records, conduct financial analyses, and perform legal research using various tools. The position requires proficiency in various computer applications and may involve occasional travel for cases or training.
About You
Required:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization.
- Requires paralegal certificate, JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study.
- Must have three years of experience with litigation support projects or an undergraduate degree.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- Hands-on familiarity with Windows Operating systems, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Preferred:
- Trial experience very helpful.
- Prior experience working in a legal office setting is highly preferred.
- Experience with data entry, calendar management, and docketing helpful.
