Seatrium is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves developing and updating the Engineering Schedule for FPSO/FPU/FLNG/FSRU projects.
About the Role
As a Senior Planning Engineer, you will be accountable for organizing meetings, facilitating schedule workshops, and implementing logical linkages between engineering activities and related activities in procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning. You will proactively manage the schedule by identifying the critical path, monitoring float, and optimizing activities to maintain progress. Additionally, you will analyze the Engineering Schedule to synthesize insights on schedule risks and opportunities, perform project productivity analysis, and report project progress to management while engaging with external counterparts.
About You
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Marine / Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
At least 6 to 8 years of working experience in planning in offshore EPC and related industry.
Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Experience in project scheduling tools, particularly MS Project and Primavera P6.
Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Preferred:
Experience in charting and data visualization tools, such as MS Excel / Power BI.
Creativity in data visualization (i.e. Gantt charts, activity network diagrams, etc.).
Proactive listener and good communicator.
Good stakeholder management skills.
