About the Role
As a Senior Plant Accountant, you will manage the complete fixed assets cycle, maintain the general ledger, prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP, manage inventory, and utilize JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system for accounting functions. You will also implement internal controls, assist in budget preparation, and collaborate with other departments to achieve overall goals.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in JD Edwards (JDE) or similar ERP system.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and experience in preparing financial statements.
- Experience in inventory management and understanding of routers and bills of material.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- High level of integrity and dependability.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
