Armada is seeking a Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer to join their team in Bellevue, WA. The role involves designing, automating, optimizing, and operating hybrid Azure Local and Kubernetes-based deployments on bare metal infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and managing Azure Local environments and Kubernetes clusters, leading automation initiatives, and ensuring the security and performance of distributed computing platforms. You will work closely with Galleon mobile data centers and the Armada Edge Platform, contributing to the operational excellence of the platform.
About You
Required:
At least 7+ years of experience in DevSecOps/SRE and platform engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and administering production Kubernetes clusters.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and administering production Azure environments.
Expertise in Linux administration and troubleshooting with at least 2+ years of experience.
Preferred:
Experience deploying and maintaining CI/CD pipelines/solutions for DevSecOps.
Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) on Azure Stack HCI/Azure Local.
Experience with Kubernetes operators and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
