Summary
Raytheon is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their team in Aurora, CO. The role focuses on the design, development, implementation, and integration of a computer/network/storage infrastructure to enhance software engineering processes.
About the Role
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will support the transition of systems tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure, assist with architecture and design, and collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to implement robust platform solutions. You will also integrate security and compliance into the platform and provide operational support.
About You
Required:
- BS/BA Degree in STEM (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics) and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).
- Experience with RedHat Linux.
- Current TS/SCI issued security clearance.
Preferred:
- Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipeline tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab).
- Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Experience with Mission Management and Infrastructure integration.
- Experience with Traditional Cloud Based technologies.
- Experience with SonarQube.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
- Experience developing, testing & delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework.
