About the Role
As a Senior Platform Operations, Support & Test Engineer, you will be responsible for post-production monitoring, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Business Requirements Testing (BRT). Your key responsibilities include developing monitoring strategies, conducting root cause analysis, collaborating with stakeholders to refine business requirements, and executing various types of tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on Business Requirements Testing.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Experience in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in Golang and Python, or related programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, BDD).
- Solid experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress).
Preferred:
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in working with APIs, databases (PostgresDB, MongoDB), and performance testing tools.
- Familiarity with domain-specific tools or standards (e.g., healthcare, finance, e-commerce).
- Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
