About the Role
As a Senior Power Engineer, you will be responsible for innovating and designing board power conversion specifications and solutions, leading projects involving new technologies, and providing technical leadership while troubleshooting complex system-level power issues. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful roll-out and validation of power systems that support Google's services.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience working with power converter design including DC/DC converter design and board bring up and debugging.
Preferred:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in technical leadership.
- Experience in power system design.
- Experience with analyzing and organizing data.
- Knowledge of power electronics fundamentals and various power conversion designs for data center power delivery.
- Knowledge of power converter modeling and simulation.
