Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Practice Builder - Transportation/Traffic to expand their Transportation Planning/Traffic practice in Oakland, California.
About the Role
As a Senior Practice Builder, you will create a vision for growth in your practice while contributing to the overall growth of the transportation engineering practice. Responsibilities include marketing and business development, managing transportation projects, building client relationships, and leading a team of professionals. You will have the autonomy to lead and grow your business, with the potential for ownership and an impressive bonus program.
About You
Required:
- 15+ years of transportation planning, traffic engineering and design, traffic operations, and/or ITS planning and design experience.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Track record of successfully winning and delivering work in the local area.
- Established relationships with local DOT, local agencies, and/or local municipalities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage transportation projects profitably through agency specifications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills.
Preferred:
- Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems.
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.
