Worley Consulting is seeking a Senior Principal Mechatronics Engineer to join their team, with the flexibility to work remotely from a U.S.-based location. The role involves researching, developing, designing, configuring, and testing various equipment and systems for commercial and industrial purposes.
About the Role
As a Senior Principal Mechatronics Engineer, you will lead technical projects in the EPC environment, develop client relationships, support cost estimates, and ensure compliance with client requirements. You will also provide technical direction for project specifications, review vendor data, and develop engineering and construction scope documents.
About You
Required:
- Recognized Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in engineering or technical field from an accredited college or University.
- Proven leadership capability to manage projects.
Preferred:
- Experience implementing and programming robotic systems - Fanuc, Kuka, Yaskawa, ABB or equivalent.
- Experience with various PLC system programming - Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Schneider, Codesys or equivalent.
- Experience with various HMI system programming - Rockwell Automation (FT View and Optix), Siemens, Schneider, Ignition, Aveva or equivalent.
- Vision system design, implementation and programming - Keyence, Cognex or equivalent.
