About the Role
As a Senior Principal Scientist, you will be a key member of the Translational Safety team, responsible for leading efforts to build and refine high-throughput in vitro organ-specific cellular screening workflows. You will collaborate with various teams to evaluate and integrate in vitro models for predicting toxicities and guiding drug candidate selection. Your role will also involve communicating screening plans and updates to leadership and multidisciplinary teams, maintaining toxicology expertise, and authoring scientific publications.
About You
Required:
- Ph.D. and postdoctoral work in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biology or related field.
- A minimum of 2+ years postdoctoral training and 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge in designing and conducting mechanistic in vitro studies incorporating high throughput applications of cell-based models.
- Experience with high throughput applications of organotypic models incorporating multiple cell types including immune cells.
- Demonstrated knowledge of drug discovery and experience with drug modalities beyond small molecules.
- Advanced knowledge of cellular and molecular toxicology and demonstrated experience driving projects to completion.
- Track record of working collaboratively to solve sophisticated scientific problems.
- Experience working on & leading highly matrixed, multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with AI/ML and in silico toxicology modeling.
- Board Certification in Toxicology.
- Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills.
