Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves supporting the design and execution of large industrial thermal and mechanical systems.
About the Role
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will serve as a technical lead across engineering, equipment selection, and project execution activities. Your responsibilities will include supporting the design and analysis of industrial thermal and process systems, developing and reviewing P&IDs, performing thermodynamic calculations, and coordinating technical information between engineering teams and vendors.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering or industrial system design.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics and industrial process systems.
- Experience working with P&IDs and engineering documentation.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with industrial equipment such as pumps, valves, vacuum systems, piping, and heat exchange equipment.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or Navisworks.
