About the Role
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading project teams in the design and implementation of roadway and highway projects. Your duties will include developing staged construction strategies, collaborating with project managers, providing technical expertise on safety standards, and mentoring junior engineers. You will ensure that construction sequences meet safety standards and align with client objectives.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in roadway and highway design with a focus on staged construction.
- Strong understanding of temporary traffic control measures and Caltrans guidelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- California Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proven ability to support complex projects and work in a team.
