Summary
Ultra Maritime is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their team in the Rochester, New York Metropolitan Area. The role involves leading engineering projects and ensuring technical execution for development and production programs in naval technology.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical execution of engineering projects, including developing solutions to complex problems, overseeing performance, cost, scope, and schedule, and ensuring all engineering efforts meet quality requirements. You will also be accountable for the technical content of bid and proposal activities and will lead small-to-medium sized engineering teams.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 9+ years of technical engineering experience with at least 1 year of technical leadership experience.
- Excellent oral presentation skills and ability to manage engineering team's focus on budget, schedule, and technical execution.
- Good communication, writing, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Preferred:
- DoD Secret or higher security clearance.
- Development or production experience with DoD software defined radios.
