Summary
Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Practice Builder to expand their Land Development practice in Los Angeles, California.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager/Practice Builder, you will lead a Land Development team, manage client relationships, and oversee project profitability. Your responsibilities will include providing vision and strategy, establishing goals, mentoring staff, and ensuring effective communication within the team. You will have the autonomy to grow the business and will be rewarded with a bonus program and potential for ownership.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably.
Preferred:
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners, and/or land owners.
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work.
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.
