Summary
Gresham Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Transportation Market to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves overseeing client traffic incident management services and operation programs.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing client transportation management programs, leading statewide strategic Traffic Incident Management (TIM) activities, directing project teams, monitoring reports and schedules, collecting and analyzing data, and overseeing the coordination of TIM analysts and engineers. You will also coordinate with state and local agency traffic operations staff and oversee the development of traffic engineering studies.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in field(s) of practice with 15 years of experience or 20 years’ experience in law enforcement, incident management, fire services, and/or emergency response.
- Contract management and staff management experience.
- GDOT project experience.
- Advanced knowledge and skill in technical writing and producing technical reports.
- Skill in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
Preferred:
- Experience in traffic engineering studies.
- Familiarity with software installation and configuration.
