About the Role
As a Senior Property Accountant, you will manage all aspects of property accounting for commercial, industrial, and office properties. Your responsibilities include preparing financial statements, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, coordinating with property managers, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You will also implement software systems for property management and work closely with the accounting team to improve financial procedures.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, specifically in commercial real estate.
- Proficiency in Yardi software.
Preferred:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Experience in shopping center, industrial, commercial, and office property accounting.
