About the Role
As a Senior Property Accountant, you will prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, maintain financial records, analyze property-level income and expenses, assist with onboarding new properties, collaborate with various departments, manage compliance with reporting requirements, participate in audits, assist with cash management, and work in Yardi for financial operations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–7 years of property accounting experience, preferably in residential multifamily real estate.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and property-level accounting practices.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Yardi is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with complex entity structures (300+ entities a plus).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
