Velosity is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support their Forest Lake, MN location. The role involves leading new product development programs to production approval by collaborating with customers and program management.
About the Role
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring robust processes and documentation are developed for successful transfer to production. You will serve as the quality representative on cross-functional teams, review documents and specifications, lead risk mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will develop inspection plans, investigate quality issues, and mentor less experienced team members.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
- Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States.
Preferred:
- 8 years of experience in quality with a minimum of 2 years in plastic injection molding.
