Summary
AbbVie is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team in North Chicago, IL. The role involves carrying out Manufacturing Quality Assurance functions within the plant, including resolution of deviations and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
About the Role
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System, ensuring that all quality goals are met, and that practices comply with company policies and regulations. You will conduct thorough investigations of plant events, maintain effective relationships with other Quality areas, approve standard operating procedures, and develop product quality plans and statistical quality programs.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Biology, Chemistry or Engineering.
- 6+ years of overall experience in Manufacturing, Quality or Engineering.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of quality/compliance management and regulations affecting manufacturing.
Preferred:
- Good interpersonal relations and negotiation skills.
